Welcome to PPOTD on this fine Friday. This week
we're going to break with tradition by not
mentioning 'ado' at all, which should cut down
on the amount of smalltalk and irrelevant preamble
that we normally have here. Our pop poem today may
be familiar to some of you, but that's no reason
why you wouldn't want to experience it again. Also
since you know it, it needs no introduction, so
to cut a long story short here is today's pop
poem:
For bonza car insurance deals
Girls get down to Sheila's Wheels
There is no quiz today on PPOTD. But don't look so
glum because in place of the quiz we have a much
more exciting thing. You may recall those school
fĂȘte type games where there is a giant jar of sweets
and you have to guess how many, with the nearest
guess winning the jar at the end of the fete. Well
this is very similar, except there is only one
sweet, and I've already eaten it. Nonetheless, the
wrapper is on my desk, it was a chocolate bar, and
all you have to do is guess what it was called.
The winner gets a 5% discount on next year's car
insurance if female, or a spot on the PPOTD bingo
card if male. In the event of any uncertainty as
to the gender, my decision is final.
PPOTD was brought to you by Sheila's Wheels.
