What joy, another day's PPOTD is upon us, and
what better way to start with some ado, the lack
of which did not go down well yesterday. Our
switchboard was literally jammed with complaints.
Today's ado is about yesterday's quiz, which was
won by Mike. Even though he failed to pick up on
the bonus point, he has earned himself free entry
in today's quiz.
But before we do today's quiz, obviously we have
to have today's pop poem. Luckily that isn't too
far away from happening, because the tune itself,
a classic historical number recorded in Sherwood
Forest and much loved by Ian, is so well known
it needs no introduction, so without any further
ado:
There's no love - like your love
And no other - could give more love
There's nowhere - unless you're there
All the time - all the wayeeeyaaa-yay-yay-yay
With that out of the way, it's on to the quiz.
Today it is easy - simply rearrange the name of
the city referred to in yesterday's bonus point
answer, until you have a description of the second
month of last year. Fastest finger on the buzzer
wins the prize. Everyone except Mike obviously
needs to submit their entry fee (a pound) before
they can buzz in.
